Various tires / タイヤ色々
Got few different new tires but have not tried them yet...
数社の新しいタイヤを入手したが、まだ試していない、、、
Top: Schwalbe - Kojak reflective 16 x 1 1/4, 186g
Left: Velotto - Fantome Mini 16 x 1 1/8, 178g

Tannus Aither 1.1
Tannus is now offering new compound called Aither 1.1.
According to this article, 1.1 has some improvements from 1.0.
タンナスがAither 1.1という新しいコンパウンドのタイヤを販売しはじめた。
こちらの記事によると、1.1は1.0からいくつかの改善点があるとのこと。

Tannus Tire for Brompton
Tannusというブランドのブロンプトン用タイヤがついに日本で発売された。詳細はローロワールドリカンベンツのブログを参照してほしい。ちなみに取りつけは店で行うことが前提となっている。

A tire found at Loro Setagaya
Stopped by Loro Setagaya on the other day, and found a tire looks like skin side wall. Spec of this tire is 37-349 which fits Brompton, however, max pressure is 4.0bar = 53PSI, which is much lower than Brompton original tire. Thus, fitting is not problem but riding could be an issue.
先日ローロ世田谷に行ったときにアメクロのタイヤを見つけた。仕様は37-349で、ブロンプトンに適合する、、、が、最大空気圧が4.0bar = 53PSIと、ブロンプトンの標準タイヤよりかなり低い。そのため、タイヤの取り付けに問題は無いが、乗車、走行時は問題となるかもしれない。

Tannus tire for Brompton (32-349) will not be available in Japan
タンナスタイヤというノーパンクタイヤが2011年頃から流通しているが、最近より多くの種類を出してきており、その中には32-349/32-355 という、ブロンプトンのリムにも適合するモデルがある。しかしながら、このタイヤは日本に流通する予定が今のところ無いとのこと。
